LFRD Firefighters Test SCBA Mask Confidence

On Tuesday Jan. 24th members of LaGrange Fire & Rescue and Campbellsburg Fire (Henry Co., KY.) traveled to the North Oldham Fire Training Center for SCBA Mask Confidence training and Mayday training. Crew members encountered a challenging, yet very educating SCBA maze prop during the early morning training. The prop included three levels of "fun" and various obstacles each member was required to navigate their way through. Such obstacles included a narrow 90 degree halfwall slalom section, navigating over exposed floor joists, various diminishing clearance obstacles, and entanglement hazard, and the ever popular floor collapse. A great job by all involved. Members are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to return to this marvelous prop. A special thanks to NOFD Skylight Station for coverage.
