LFRD responds to MVA on South First Avenue with extrication.

On Sunday, April 1, 2012, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department along with Oldham County EMS responded to South First Avenue and the I-71 northbound exit ramp on a report of an injury accident.
Upon arrival Rescue Engine 4535 reported a two vehicle MVA involving and passenger car and pick-up truck with extrication. Crew members from Rescue Engine 4535 stabilized the car and removed the driver side door in order to safely remove the driver from the vehicle.
Oldham County EMS transported two occupants from the car to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The lone driver from the pick-up was not hurt.
