LFRD Responds to Mobile Home Fire

On Thursday, May 16, 2013, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to 35 Court D in Copper Stone Point on a report of wires down caused by a passing garbage truck.
Shortly after the dispatch, Dispatch advised all responded units that the call had been upgraded to a structure fire. Upon arrival, Car 4505 reported a working fire on the front left corner of a mobile home. Crew members from the first arriving engine on 4534 made quick work of the situation and extinguished the fire in the matter of few minutes. The mobile home suffered minor damage.
LG&E was called to the scene on emergency to assist with the downed electrical line.
