LFRD Sends Two Tankers to Trimble County Structure Fire

On Saturday, May 18, 2013 at approximately 5:12 AM, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to Trimble County to assist Bedford and Milton Fire Departments on a structure fire with the request of two water tankers.
Upon arrival, Tanker 4561 and Tanker 4562 assisted with providing approximately 3000 gallons of water to assist with the effort to extinguish the barn fire next to the residence.
The home owner advised fire officials the he woke up and heard a noise and quickly discovered that his barn was on fire. The barn was a total loss and owner's house suffered minor damage.
