In any type of emergency, you want help to arrive as quickly as possible. When every second counts, it is imperative that our fire, police and EMS professionals are able to quickly and easily locate your home or office. We want to be there for YOU, so please, review your current address identification markers. Make sure that your address is clearly visible following the guidelines listed below.

*Mark BOTH sides of your mailbox so that your address can be viewed from either direction traveling along the roadway.
*Use Arabic numerals with a MINIMUM of 3” in height
*Use reflective numbers or contrasting colors for higher visibility.
*If you do not have a mailbox, place a sign post in the front yard near the curb or driveway leading to your property with numbers visible from both sides.
*Test viewing the address yourself after dark. If you can’t see it, then first responders may not either!

Highly reflective address signs like the one pictured above are available from LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department for residents of community.
