LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department recently responded to a fire involving a CATERPILLAR Backhoe at the intersection of North HWY 393 and Jones Drive in Buckner.

The operator of the machine told fire officials that while driving down the road he smelled smoke and then observed flames coming from the machine. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
