On Saturday, October 28, 2017, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to a report of a semi-truck on fire on the I-71 southbound exit ramp to HWY 393 in Buckner. Upon arrival, Car 4502 reported a working fire in a trailer. The fire was quickly extinguished by the crew members from Engine 4534. The fire was contained to the exterior of the trailer.

The Operator of the truck managed to separate the second trailer and tractor from the fire trailer prior to Fire Department arrival.
