Two Vehicle Crash on I-71

On Friday, October 27, 2017, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department along with Oldham County EMS responded to a report of injury accident on I-71 northbound around the 19 mile marker.

Upon arrival, Fire and EMS officials found two vehicles off the roadway with one vehicle that had rolled over on top of the other vehicle. Fortunately, all occupants were able escape the crash with no injuries.

The Operator of the passenger car advised fire officials that the collision was a result of a deer striking the rear side of her car causing her to loose control.

Crew members from Engine 4535 and Forestry 4571 secured both vehicles and assisted with traffic control and lighting the scene.
