Two separate accidents on E. Hwy 146 this morning created traffic delays in the area. The first accident near the intersection of Ft. Pickens Road and E. Hwy 146 around 7:42 AM involved 3 vehicles, one being an Oldham County Sheriff unit. That accident resulted in one subject being transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The second incident involved a semi-tractor and trailer that overturned in the 2900 block of E. Hwy 146 at 10:54 AM. The driver of the truck was out of the vehicle upon arrival of first responders and was transported to an area hospital. A total road closure was needed to upright the tractor/trailer and make repairs to a portion of the roadway. It was reported that the cargo spilled onto the area was scrap metal. Roadway was reopened and traffic was reported to be flowing smoothly at 4:20 PM.
