Recently, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department along with Oldham County EMS responded to I-71 NB in the area of the 19 mile marker on a report of an injury accident involving multiple vehicles.

Fortunately, despite the magnitude of the collision, only minor injuries were reported. I-71 NB was shut down at the 18 mile marker for several hours to clean up the roadway.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Oldham County Police Department.
