The LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department is currently accepting applications for part-time firefighters. All interested parties must complete and submit an application packet. Applications are available at LaGrange Fire & Rescue Station 1 located at 309 North First Avenue, LaGrange, KY, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Required Qualifications
 High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
 Must be 21 Years of Age at The Time of Application
 150 Hour – Kentucky State Certified Firefighter
 Hazmat – Operations Level
 Valid Kentucky Driver’s License
 NIMS 700, 100, 200
 CPR/First Aid Certified

Desired Qualifications
 Kentucky EMT-B or Certified First Responder
 Kentucky Certified State Instructor
 Kentucky Certified State Fire Inspector
 IFSAC Firefighter 1 & 2
 IFSAC Hazmat – Awareness/Operations

Hours of Work
 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday
 (12 - 24 Hours Per Week)
