After dining at the local Cracker Barrel for lunch Tuesday afternoon, the Green Crew was dispatched on a call of an animal rescue on Dawson Ridge Road. After arriving on scene, personnel were directed to an area behind the residence where Ruby, a Scottish Terrier, had fallen into a hole while hunting for ground hogs! With assistance from Oldham County Animal Control and some "ingenious rescue techniques", Ruby was returned to her anxiously awaiting owners. Lt. Tom Creagh is to be commended for a job well done.
