Monday evening training started out great in the cool confines of the Station 2 classroom with Lt. Col. Doleman instructing personnel on the different types of foam that LFRD uses, the equipment associated with foam production, and proper techniques for producing finished foam. A short break and the training resumed outside, temperatures still in the 80's with humidity to match, crews assembled an old style Eductor type system and looked at the positives and the negative of such a set up. Members then switched over to Engine 4535 and were educated on the operation of the Husky 10 foam system that has both Class A and Class B capabilities.
Thanks to Major Rouser, Sgt. Neal & Lt. Col. Doleman for a well taught class.
