| Crews from both LaGrange Fire & Rescue Dept. and Ballardsville Fire Department responded on a call of live electrical lines down across a piece of heavy equipment at a construction site behind Oldham County High School at 0925 hrs this date. First on scene crews from 1336 reported active arcing and a small fire under the equipment. After crews from the local electrical utility arrived on scene and secured the 7200 volt line that laid across the excavator, fire crews cooled off an area of molten metal near the from left track. Additional note, 1308 was IC, is this the beginning of something??? Another great mutual aid for the LaGrange/Ballardsville units. |
