Crews from LFRD were dispatched to I-71 North at the 23 mile marker Wednesday afternoon at the beginning of rush hour for an injury accident. Crews arrived on scene to find several vehicles with significant damage in the roadway and one in the median. A total of 4 patients were transported to area hospitals. Roadway closure was approximately 30 minutes while the wreckage was cleared.
