| March 28, 2011 | |
| The LaGrange Fire Protection District will be inspecting, flushing and painting fire hydrants during the months of April, May, June and July 2011. This will include areas of the LaGrange Utilities Water District and the Oldham County Water District. Water may appear cloudy or discolored immediately following hydrant flow testing. However, the water is safe to drink. It is recommended that affected residents not do laundry or shower during flushing activities in their area. Brief water outages may also be experienced. Residents may wish to put aside some clear water for availability during the flushing. Residents experiencing discolored water should run an outside spigot for 3-5 minutes or until water runs clear. If you have any questions or should you notice a hydrant in need of repair, please contact LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department at 222-1143, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. |
