| On Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 4:01 AM, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department along with Oldham County EMS responded to the 22 mile marker I-71 northbound on a report of an injury accident. Car 4505 arrived on the scene and reported one vehicle overturned with one occupant out of the vehicle and another occupant trapped inside the vehicle. Crew members from Rescue Engine 4535 arrived on the scene and extricated one occupant from the vehicle utilizing the "jaws of life". One occupant was transported to Baptist Hospital Northeast by Oldham County EMS and the other occupant was transported to University Hospital by Air Ambulance. |
