LaGrange, Kentucky, 4/5/2014, LaGrange Fire & Rescue will be conducting live fire training on April 13th, 2014 on a vacant building located on the new Tri-County Ford Dealership in LaGrange, Kentucky. The property located at 2812 South Highway 393 was formerly occupied by office staff of Rocket Man, Inc. The training will commence at 9:00am and will last until sometime in the early afternoon. Several of the other departments within Oldham County will be participating in addition. This is a unique opportunity for fire fighters within Oldham County to focus on various fire fighting skills such as fire behavior within a structure, extinguishment methods, and hose line advancement. Passersby’s and residence in the immediate area can expect to see visible smoke and flames in the vicinity of the Ford Dealership. There will be no traffic delays in the area as a result of the training. Individuals wishing to catch a glimpse of the training are more than welcome to attend and learn about their fire departments operations. However, parking in the area will be extremely limited.
