When crews were dispatched on a "train versus recreational vehicle" recently they were expecting the worse but relieved when they arrived on scene and discovered that the only injuries were to the RV and a tow vehicle behind. The unfortunate incident to the out of town visitors happened then they were unable to clear their RV from the active tracks in time before a CSX train entered the area. The area is unique in that the tracks passing through downtown LaGrange are very active with approximately 20-25 trains a day passing through the area.
