Recently, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department along with Oldham County EMS responded to the intersection of West Jefferson ST and Fifth AVE on a report of an injury accident.

Car 4502 arrived on the scene and reported a two vehicle motor accident with an extrication. Upon the arrival of Engine 4534, crew members utilized electric and hydraulic rescue tools to remove a driver side door from one of the vehicles involved to safely removed the driver from the car.

The occupant of the car was transported to the hospital by Oldham County EMS.
