The LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department is currently accepting applications for part-time firefighters. All interested parties must complete and submit an application packet. Applications are available at LaGrange Fire & Rescue Station 1 located at 309 North First Avenue, LaGrange, KY, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Applications are due on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 4:00 PM.

Required Qualifications
•High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
•Must be 21 Years Of Age At The Time Of Application
•2 Years of Fire Service Experience
•150 Hour – Kentucky State Certified Firefighter – Level 1
•Haz-Mat – Operations Level
•Valid Kentucky Driver’s License
•NIMS 700, 100, 200
•CPR/First Aid Certified

Desired Qualifications
•Kentucky EMT-B or Certified First Responder
•Kentucky Certified State Instructor
•Kentucky Certified State Fire Inspector
•IFSAC Firefighter 1 & 2
•IFSAC Haz-Mat – Awareness/Operations

Rate of Pay
•$12.18 Per Hour

Hours of Work
•6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday
•(12 - 24 Hours Per Week)
