LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department recently responded to a report of a semi truck on fire located on I-71 northbound in the area of the 18 mile marker.

Upon arrival fire personnel reported a working fire in the truck trailer near the driver side rear wheels. The fire was quickly knock down and extinguished by fire department personnel. It appears the fire started in the area of the rear brakes and extended up to the trailer area.

The truck driver was able to disconnect the truck from the trailer prior to Fire Department arrival.

No injuries were reported with this incident.
