Damage to the single family dwelling in a rural section of the LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department district was minimized due to the quick actions of the home owner and fast response of fire personnel. With a mutual aid response from Ballardsville Fire & Rescue Dept to assist in the operation, the fire in the lower level of the structure was quickly located and extinguished. Ventilation was setup due to the large amount of smoke throughout all levels of the home.

Great work by all involved resulted in a safe and effective operation.
