PUBLIC NOTICE: LIVE-BURN EXERCISE

LAGRANGE, KY – On Saturday, November 10, 2018, the LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department, in conjunction with neighboring Fire Departments, will be conducting a live fire training exercise on the property located at 1413 Crystal Drive East, LaGrange, KY. The tentative start time for firefighting operations will commence at 8:30 AM and is scheduled to end at approximately 3:00 PM.

The purpose of this live fire training is to enhance firefighters’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in the area of structural firefighting. This live fire training will create a smoke condition in the immediate area.

As part of the live fire training exercise, Crystal Drive East between the east entrance to Cracker Barrel and the entrance to Quality Suites will be temporarily closed in sections. During this closure, traffic will be detoured through neighboring streets. We ask that motorist please follow the detour signage that will be installed.
