The LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department is currently accepting applications for part-time firefighters. All interested parties must complete and submit an application packet. Applications are available at LaGrange Fire & Rescue Station 1 located at 309 North First Avenue, LaGrange, KY, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalency Must be 21 Years of Age at The Time of Application 150 Hour – Kentucky State Certified Firefighter Hazmat – Operations Level Valid Kentucky Driver’s License NIMS 700, 100, 200 CPR/First Aid Certified
Desired Qualifications Kentucky EMT-B or Certified First Responder Kentucky Certified State Instructor Kentucky Certified State Fire Inspector IFSAC Firefighter 1 & 2 IFSAC Hazmat – Awareness/Operations
Hours of Work 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday (12 - 24 Hours Per Week)
