Recently, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire located on I-71 northbound at the 18 mile marker near the exit ramp.

Upon fire department arrival, Car 4506 reported a working vehicle fire in the emergency lane.

Personnel from Tanker 4561 arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the fire utilizing a 1-3/4" attack line. Personnel from Engine 4534 arrived on scene and assisted with salvage and overhaul.
