On Friday, May 22, 2020 at approximately 10:01 AM, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to report of an auto crash with no injuries involving power lines located in the 2700-block of W US 42.

Upon Fire Department arrival, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle involved was already out and uninjured.

Personnel from Engine 4534 arrived on the scene and secured the vehicle and established a safe area. Personnel from Engine 4535 and Tanker 4565 arrived on scene and assisted police with traffic control.

The scene was turned over to Louisville Gas and Electric once the power was secured.

An LG&E official advised that the power in the area could be interrupted for several hours while repairs are being made.
