La Grange Fire and Rescue Department wishes to give many thanks and recognition to a hometown resident, Dr. Mark Chick, for his recent donation of Pet Oxygen Mask Kits to assist First Responders if the need arises. Pet oxygen masks are oxygen masks specifically designed coned shaped to fit the muzzles and snouts of dogs, cats and other household pets. Far too many pets die every year due to smoke asphyxiation; this equipment is changing the number of successful resuscitation attempts! Dr. Chick is a graduate of Oldham County High School and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 25 years. In April of this year Dr. Chick took over the ownership of Oldham County Veterinary Services and is looking forward to serving the small animal patients of Oldham County. Please visit Dr. Chick and his great team at 2411 South Hwy 53 in La Grange, KY. |
