Thoughts and Prayers for Brother Nickolas Wilt after Louisville Shooting
Email Print RSS Facebook Twitter RSS

By Assistant Chief Adrian Doleman
April 11, 2023

Officer Nickolas Wilt, a new officer to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), ran towards gunfire yesterday to save lives. He remains in critical condition after being shot in the head.

The members of LFRD would like to extend a big THANK YOU for all the thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.

Nick Wilt joined the LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department in 2016 and is an active firefighter member. As with all of our fire department members, Brother Wilt is one of our most value assets.

In the days to come, the Department would ask for your continued support and prayers for Brother Nick Wilt and his family as he continues down the road to recovery.
