LFRD Responds to Vehicle Fire on I-71 NB

On Wednesday, October 24, 2007, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire fully involved at the 21-miler marker northbound.

Upon arrival, Car 4501 confirmed a fully involved SUV well off and assumed Command.

With the arrival of Squrt 4531, crewmembers utilized a 1-1/2 inch attack line with class foam and knocked the fire down with-in a few minutes. Crewmembers from Engine 4532 assisted in fully extinguishing the fire.
