The LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department is currently accepting applications for part-time firefighters.  All interested parties must complete and submit an application packet.  Applications are available at LaGrange Fire & Rescue Station 1 located at 309 North First Avenue, LaGrange, KY, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.  Applications are due on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 4:00 PM.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
• Must be 21 Years Of Age At The Time Of Application
• 2 Years of Fire Service Experience
• 150 Hour – Kentucky State Certified Firefighter – Level 1
• Haz-Mat – Operations Level
• Valid Kentucky Driver’s License
• NIMS 700, 100, 200
• CPR/First Aid Certified

Desired Qualifications

• Kentucky EMT-B or Certified First Responder
• Kentucky Certified State Instructor
• Kentucky Certified State Fire Inspector
• IFSAC Firefighter 1 & 2
• IFSAC Haz-Mat – Awareness/Operations

Rate of Pay

• $12.18 Per Hour

Hours of Work

• 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• (12 - 24 Hours Per Week)
