The LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department is funded by a fire district tax pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter 75 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes. The Fire District is governed by a seven member board of trustees. The Board of Trustees consists of seven members, two elected by firefighters (serving a 4 year term), two elected by property owners (serving a three year term), and three appointed by the county judge/executive (serving a three year term).
