LFRD Assists Lake Jericho With Mobile Home Fire

On Tuesday, December 09, 2008, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to Henry County on a report of a mobile home fire at the request of Lake Jericho Fire Department. Upon arrival, LFRD fire personnel found a working fire in a mobile home located in Stone Hurst Subdivision. LFRD fire personnel assisted Lake Jericho Fire Department with the extinguishment and overhaul of the fire. The fire was contained to a front bedroom in which the remainder of the mobile home suffered smoke and water damage. Many items were salvageable. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
