LFRD Responds to Henry County to Assist on Residential Structure Fire

On Thursday, February 5, 2009, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department responded to Henry County to assist Campbellsburg Fire Department on a working residential structure fire. Upon arrival, Campbellsburg fire personnel found a one-story residence with heavy fire and smoke and requested additional manpower and equipment from LaGrange. Due to the volume of fire, Campbellsburg Command decided to fight the fire defensively. Despite great efforts from all fire personnel on the scene, the house was a total loss. The cause of the fire was unknown and is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
