Holiday Potluck Pack Meeting

The food was plentiful and the hospitality was great as Cub Scout Pack 200 and their families gave recognition to area Police, Fire and EMS workers. The event was held Thursday evening at LaGrange Presbyterian Church and was well attended. Prior to setting down for a bounty of ham, turkey, BBQ and more side dishes that should have been allowed, parents and scouts toured the police, fire and EMS equipment outside.
Several ceremonies involving the scouts, leaders and parents were observed after the meal, the most prominent being where scouts were awarded the Whittling Chip and presented with pocket knives. A great and enjoyable evening for all that attended.
