Stone River Drive Structure Fire

Crews from LaGrange and Ballardsville Fire Departments were dispatched at 1749 hrs Thursday afternoon on a working structure fire in the exclusive L'Esprit area just northeast of downtown LaGrange. First in command officers reported a single family dwelling fully involved with all occupants out of the structure. An additional dispatch was made for North Oldham Fire Department to the scene, with South Oldham and Shelby Co. for lap-in coverage.
A defensive tactic was utilized to extinguish the fire and protect one exposure during the five hour operation.
