LaGrange Baptist Church Fire Safety Visit

A Fire Safety visit to LaGrange Baptist Church was part of the schedule for the Red Crew on Monday morning. Under the capable leadership of Lt. Brian Claybern, 26 students of the pre school program were instructed in Stop, Drop & Roll, Stay Low, Then Go, and versed on the importance of conducting Exits Drills In The Home. FF Steven Dykes donned his PPE for students and then crawled around the group to simulate what children might see should a firefighter need to enter their home for a rescue. Following the classroom portion of the instruction, Sgt. Phill Coggeshall and FF Josh Lile spoke with students about the equipment on the trucks and provided them the opportunity to sit in first and second lineman seats on Engine 4531.
