Law Enforcement Takes the Win during Fundraiser
By Major Keith Smith
August 24, 2010
After a shameful defeat to firefighters during a Tug of War on July 18th, area law enforcement officers got revenge during a flag football game, titled "Guns and Hoses". The fundraising event was held on Saturday, August 21st at the Oldham County Youth Football Field. Reports indicate that the effort was successful in raising funds for the Youth Football League, along with a drive to raise funds that will allow a renewal of the Firefighter and Police memorials that currently sit on the courthouse lawn in LaGrange.
