By Assistant Chief Adrian Doleman
December 28, 2010
On Tuesday, December 28, 2010, LaGrange Fire & Rescue Department assisted Ballardsville Fire Department on a chimney fire in the 1300-Block of Robertson Drive in Fible Farms. Engine 1336, the first engine to arrive, reported heavy smoke coming from the residence. The fire orginating in the chimney extended to the attic and the basement. Crew members from LaGrange and Ballardsville were able to quickly knock the fire down and confine it to the chimney area.
