LFRD Awards Banquet 2012

A change of venue this year had the 2012 LFRD Awards Banquet held at Soiree in LaGrange, KY. A fantastic dinner was served up by the crew from Classic Cuisine and it should be noted that if you went away hungry, it wasn't their fault!!
A presentation of awards that followed dinner included length of service awards ranging from 5 years through 20 years of active service, Most Runs, Unit Citations, Rookie of the Year, along with the Richard Dake Firefighter of the Year Award and the Mayfield Rankin Award. A specially designed plaque was presented to Mr. John Glauber for over 30 years of commitment to LFRD and the community. Mr. Glauber has acted in various roles beginning with that of a firefighter and ultimately holding the position of Chief. Today, Johnny continues to serve as an active member of the LaGrange Fire Protection District Board.
