Visit to Station 1 by LaGrange Elementary
By Major Keith Smith
October 9, 2013
Thursday morning October 3rd proved to be a busy morning for crews helping to educate a group of young visitors from LaGrange Elementary School. Approximately 100+ children and teachers visited the firehouse and were rotated through several different set ups that included station tours, Stop, Drop & Roll instruction and spraying an active hoseline. The highlight of the visit seemed to be a competition between several teachers to see which one could get fire gear on in the shortest amount of time.
Thanks to all that made this a successful event. A special Thanks goes out to Sparky the Fire Dog for enduring all of his fans!
