Crews working shift on Tuesday afternoon were kept busy working to extinguish a large debris pile at a local metal recycling operation in LaGrange. The call was received and dispatched at 12:32 pm. First units on scene reported a large fire containing wooden pallets and cardboad debris at the rear of the property. Additional alarms were requested to protect nearby structures and a wooded area next to the property that were endangered by moderate winds encountered during the operation. Thanks to all that assisted at the scene and with lap in coverage. Great work by everyone!.
