TRAFFIC ADVISORY - CSX Rail Replacement Project

Activities related to the CSX Rail Replacement Project along Main Street in LaGrange will begin on Sunday, February 9, 2020.  Please refer to the below projected timeline for additional details.
 
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2020 at 9:00 AM
East and West Main Streets between Second Avenue and Walnut Avenue will be closed to thru traffic for placement of construction equipment and materials.  All parked vehicles along Main Street must be cleared prior to 9:00 AM.  Crossing intersections along Main Street will be open.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2020
The following crossings will close at 5:00 AM on Monday, February 10th with an anticipated reopening date of Friday, February 14th at 8:00 PM.

Second / Main
First / Main
Walnut / Main
Cedar / Main

LOCAL TRAFFIC DETOUR ROUTES
Directional arrows and signage will direct local traffic to Yager Avenue and East Washington Street to access open crossings.

Sixth / Main
FT. Pickens Road (HWY 712)

NOTE: Local traffic detour routes WILL NOT be accessible to commercial vehicles.  Commercial vehicles with destinations north and south of Main Street must use I-71 exits 18 and 28 utilizing HWY 146 as a travel route.
