June 18, 2007
On Monday, June 18, 2007, LaGrange and Ballardsville fire departments were dispatched to a report of a structure fire in the area of S. KY 393 & KY 22.
While en route, dispatch advised all units that Car 1303 was on scene in the area reporting heavy smoke. In addition, it was determined that the fire was in South Oldham's fire district in which they were also dispatched.
Upon arrival, Squrt 4531 reported a barn fully involved in which was already on the ground. Crew members from Squrt 4531 pulled a 1 3/4 attack line and began to extinguish the fire. With the arrival of Squrt 5435, a second 1 3/4 attack line was pulled to assist with extinguishment.
