Nice website. Our department is comprised of 25 paid on call firefighters, 3 stations housing 9 apparatus and one rescue boat. Our response area covers about 36 square miles and is adjacent to the Battle Creek and Springfield municipalities.
I have been a member of the Fire Dept. for a little over 20 years and do mainly
administrative duties and incident photography for evidence/record use these
days.
By the way, our motto is " We'll take it from Here."

A VERY fine web site. Having performed the Oldham County 4th of July public fireworks display since 2003 we are proud to have such a professional group of individuals at our side during the displays each year. We invite any firefighters to contact us with regard to the safe and proper usage of fireworks. We are federally licensed and certified and we can offer training to firefighters that wish to perform professional public or private displays of fireworks. We offer product and insurance packages for our in house trained individuals.

Greetings from the LaGrange Farmers' Market......We would like to invite the LaGrange Fire Department to particapate in a Saturday at The LaGrange Farmers' Market, by displaying 1 or more pieces of equipment any Saturday (June 9th through the end of September (except Olaham County Day). We would also like to have a Red Cross Blood Drive......However, we do not have the facility for one,
perhaps a joint blood drive between the fire department & the farmers' market.
We regularly have 300-350 people on any given Saturday & could jointly promote the event.

Mr. Salle, thanks for your comments in ref. to our website and the Capt. you mention making a delivery to your workplace. As a NOTE, the gentleman that I'm sure you speak of, Capt. Mike Hammond, lost his home to a lightning strike on Wednesday afternoon about 1612 hrs. During an intense area of thunder and lightning storms that moved through the Oldham County area, Capt. Hammonds house was struck by lightning. No one was at home at the time and no one was injured, however the home suffered extensive damage. An article and pictures should be posted later today. Please keep Capt. Hammond and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
